I want to take a journey back into the ancient times, the times of our fore fathers. When there was no technology or any form of advancement in the world, when things were done according to our culture and tradition.              My mum explained to me how marriage rites were carried out. How a woman is meant to keep herself and remain a virgin before marriage. She also explained to me how the groom’s family pays a woman’s dowry/bride price and takes items to the bride’s parent. To discern is to know, recognize or understand something especially something that is not obvious; To see or hear something but not very clearly.              I believe that when the creator created us, he created us all with a discerning spirit. But due to sin and non-chalant attitude, we have not been able to notice our ability to discern things.             Not been able to discern things have affected a lot of people. Note that there is always a feeling we have when some things are about to happen to us. it could be good or bad, there is always a feeling that comes before it. There is a punishment or defeat that is deserved and cannot be avoided, this punishment is called NEMESIS.             Sometimes ago,  I always think that no matter what some people do, they can always get away with it. But years later, I realize that you can’t always have your cake and also eat it meaning that you cannot have the advantage of something without its disadvantage. I know that some people always feel they are on top of their game but things cannot always continue like that. You don’t expect to hurt your fellow human and get away with it.              Are you a guy who thinks he can get any girl whenever he wishes, are you out there hurting young ladies and thinking its normal. Ability to think: the part of a person that makes them able to be aware of things, to think and to feel. The ability to think and reason: your thoughts, interests; ability to remember things.             The mind is the origin of our thoughts, before things are said through the mouth,  I mean before words are spoken; many thoughts have been processed in the mind. Am thrilled at the way the creator designed the mind and am amazed at the way it is being used by people. The mind consists of a lot, positive thoughts, negative thoughts, ideas, solutions and many others.              Like I said earlier, before words are spoken and expressed, it goes through a series of process in the mind. My question to you is; how have you been able to utilize your mind. What are the things that run through your mind when you are alone and when you are with people?           ...

             During the raining season, the ground becomes wet and dirty. The muddy ground becomes sticky and mostly irritating to people. When people walk on this muddy ground, they are always careful so that their feet won’t be dirty and the mud won’t splash on their body.             Notice also that there are people who walk carelessly during this season. In the process of walking carelessly their feet and body gets stained. They have to  take their time to remove the stain. If the mud splashes on their clothes for instance the stain might not remove again.       With this I realize that some people have a non-chalant attitude. They do not care about  their life. They just believe things will always work for them as long as they live. They walk on the mud (soft and wet ground) as if it is a hard and soft ground.         ...

Looking around today, I do not feel so excited about the way people go about their service in the House of the Lord.              Service is the particular skill or help that a person is able to offer. Every skill or help a person offers in the House of God should be centered towards God and reconciling people to God. In the House of God (Church) today, many people are only rendering services because of man. They have refused to give all glory and honour to God in all they do. The service they render is to the head of the church. They pay their tithes and give contributions in church because they want to find favour in the sight of the Church Head, believing that their service to the man of God will take them to heaven.
