DISCERN

To discern is to know, recognize or understand something especially something that is not obvious; To see or hear something but not very clearly.
            I believe that when the creator created us, he created us all with a discerning spirit. But due to sin and non-chalant attitude, we have not been able to notice our ability to discern things.
            Not been able to discern things have affected a lot of people. Note that there is always a feeling we have when some things are about to happen to us. it could be good or bad, there is always a feeling that comes before it. But many people have ignored this feelings, in the process, some have missed out, opportunities have been lost, death has occurred just because of the ignorance of not being able to discern.
            A young man woke up one morning and was feeling very uneasy, he couldn't figure out the cause of this feeling. He thought maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed like some people will say. He continued doing his chores preparing to leave his house to visit a friend but something inside of him keeps telling him to stay back but he ignored it. He dressed up and left for his friends place.
            On getting there, he met his friend and his neighbor fighting, he decides to separate them only to get stabbed in the process. He didn't survive the injury. He died. He ignored the feeling and died. If he had stayed at home he would have survived. Many times we only remember we have felt something after the thing has occurred. Though some people don’t get to the point of them but lose opportunities and important thing.
            When you see a sign or something that is not clear; Take your time to find out what it means. Do not rush in decision making. Learn to discern things; you can even discern people by trying to find out what they are made of before getting close to them in order to avoid trouble. Learn to understand situations before making decisions.
            The bible analyses discerning of spirit as a gift of revelation; I believe we all have this gift. Ability to make use of the gifts makes it improve. You can improve this by praying, regularly taking caution and listening. Be calm, focus and pray to God for wisdom and direction. Learn to discern.

Feminist have come up with theories expressing the need for gender equality between a man and a woman. Although most of these theories have been countered several times, we can’t still rule out the fact that the position of a woman in the family, society and nation is a great one. Permit me to say women are the salt of the world. They make life sweeter when they are added in the right proportion and when treated otherwise you can imagine what the result will be. Without their presence everything becomes sour. The position of a woman in a home cannot be overemphasized, they run and manage the affairs of the home which include taking care of the husband, children, cooking meals, attending to guests and extended family members, buying items needed for everyday life and the list is endless. THE HUMAN NATURE

I was in church, then suddenly after a short message was preached, a pastor gave me a scripture   (Galatians 5:19) and immediately after I received it, rapture took place and I woke up immediately. I wasn’t very shocked because it wasn’t the first time I would dream about rapture but I asked what about this scripture.         This scripture inspired me to write this: Galatians 5:19(GNT)”what human nature does is quite plain, it shows itself in immoral, filthy and indecent actions”. Human nature: the ways of behaving, thinking and feeling  that are shared by most people and are considered to be normal.
